Julie provides the operational framework for Sycamore and Company but comes to the role with a wide range of experiences. Julie started her career at Procter & Gamble and over her 20 years with the company she held responsibilities in administration, personnel, marketing services, sales and merchandising.
Her first twelve years were in the Advertising Department of the BS&HCP Division where her roles included the management of a multimillion dollar point of sale and sales merchandising budget for over a dozen brands. Maintaining control of production and distribution of all the in-store marketing materials demanded coordination across all the brands and the entire divisional sales organization. Working for over a dozen years with the Procter brand teams has given her a real understanding of what it takes to perform on the biggest stage in marketing.
Then in 1985 she joined the Procter & Gamble Distributing Company working in field sales and later in store merchandising. Julie's experience as a sales representative with one of the most respected direct sales forces in the industry gives her great insight into the selection of sales talent.
Julie began her career in executive search at a firm where she served as the Database and Communications Manager, not only updating their processes, but providing critical analytical skills for the management of client and candidate content. She has been with Sycamore and Company since 2009 identifying and qualifying candidates, and she knows talent.
Julie is a graduate of Madonna University and in addition to her business skills and experiences, she is a trained interpreter in American Sign Language and serves on the Board of Advisors for Zimkids Orphan Trust, a charitable organization in Zimbabwe. Julie also serves as Vice President and is a Board Member for Chronic Migraine Awareness, a nonprofit working to advocate for and support those who live with this neurological disorder.
